On Katie Couric's podcast, Martha Stewart opened up about her five-month stint in prison at West Virginia’s Alderson Federal Prison Camp.
“It was horrifying and no one, no one, should have to go through that kind of indignity really except for murderers, and there are a few other categories, but no one should have to go through that,” she said during the podcast. “It’s a very, very awful thing.”
Now, it's not like we disagree with her but we're pretty sure that's something that's pretty obvious. Maybe we're wrong?
Despite being at minimum-security, Stewart said the whole experience was "horrifying" and there was no real way to "make lemons out of lemonade." She said none of the age-old adages like that could ever fit there because really, nothing all-that great came out of it or was learned.
So, everyone take Martha Stewart's warning, prison is horrible. We figured if she didn't know everyone else wouldn't either. You're welcome.
