Ken Griffey, Jr. Gives The Worst Interview Ever To ESPN (Video)
Posted by Steve on March 06 2014
Sports card maker Upper Deck is celebrating their 25th anniversary and to help them out, baseball great Ken Griffey, Jr. was making the rounds on numerous media outlets yesterday to talk up the company.  After a bunch of interviews, he finally made it to SportsCenter on ESPN with Linda Cohn.  It appeared as though Griffey was a little bored of the charade that he had no doubt been dealing with for the last few hours and ended up giving what may be the worst interview ever.

Cohn later called out Griffey on Twitter.

And Griffey responded on Instagram, giving an odd excuse.

"I want to apologize to Linda for the way things went today. I was in the middle of a cough attack and felt a little ill and didn't want to walk off the set. Linda has always been professional to me and my family .  I'm sorry, Junior @espn @sportcenter @lindacohn"

Check out the awkward exchange below.
