During the recent Chicago Cubs vs. the St. Louis Cardinals game, Cubs shortstop Addison Russell chased the ball into the stands and demolished a fan's tray of nachos.
Andrew Gudermuth, with his lost nachos which ended up all over Russell's arm and on the ground, sat back down and was then personally delivered a new tray by Russell himself. Gudermuth then posed for a selfie with his new food and Russell and the audience all had a great laugh.
Everyone got a kick out of the whole thing, except for the Cubs starter, Jon Lester.
“Great effort,” Lester said in an interview with the Chicago Sun Times, “But I don’t understand the other stuff.
“A guy fell into him and got nacho cheese on his arm and now he’s taking pictures and signing autographs. It shows you where our society’s at right now with all that stuff.”
Apparently he thinks it was all a bit obnoxious but someone could really just tell him "it's nacho business"
