The best blocked shot of the year in the NBA took place on Wednesday night in the Brooklyn/Toronto game. Nets forward Chris Humphries was at the foul line where, historically speaking, blocked shots aren't an issue. Don't tell that to Courtney Kirkland, though.
Kirkland, however, is a referee. He seemed to overreact a bit when Humphries started going through the motions while a substitution was in in progress. That is not allowed, so Kirkland sprung in to action! Check out the video below.
The announcer referring to him as "a guy from Foot Locker" is the best part in my opinion. It even earned Play of the Game!
