I caught Free Beer tough-talking himself once again!  This one will require a bit of back story though.

Earlier today on the show, we took calls from people who we made feel bad by saying something offensive/stupid/silly on the show.  We got a ton of calls from people who we mocked for various reasons, including a bunch from people whose silly collections we made fun of.  I didn't remember this particular story until after the show, so I didn't get a chance to share a time that Free Beer made me feel pretty bad.

It was at least five or six years ago, before I even worked for the show.  I worked for 105.7 The Hawk on the Jersey Shore as the board op for the show.  On the air one morning, the guys were talking about a survey that you could take online that would tell you what famous political leader's personality traits you shared.  The results coming back for various members of the show were Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, etc.  Free Beer was particularly bummed because each time he took the survey, it came back negative.  He got Stalin once Hitler another time.  

It was at this point that I should have kept by results to myself, but I instead decided to text Free Beer and say "I got John F. Kennedy!".  It was Free Beer's response that made me feel bad.  His response?

"Enjoy the parade, asshole!".  

I told him about that exchange after the show today, which he immediately felt terrible for, despite having no recollection of it.  

Fast forward an hour or so when he was recording the daily promos.  He was having some difficulty wording a particular line and after four attempts, he was still unsuccessful.  That's when the Free Beer tough-talk came out!
