Four high school students are running for governor of Kansas in the 2018 elections!
They are able to run because no requirements were ever really made for who can or cannot run for governor.
The teens are also all very confident they could provide a more youthful perspective, balance school with campaigning, and feel they have a chance of winning against older professionals.Tyler Ruzich, who is running as a republican said, "Of course there's a chance we can win. No matter how big that chance is, what matters is that the four of us have a chance of winning this election."
"There's really no chance of one of these kids becoming the governor of Kansas," said Wichita State University political scientist, Neal Allen.
We can only wish we were as motivated and optimistic as these kids! Best of luck to them!Source: CBS Evening News
