First Person: The Largest Ski Jump In the World (Video)
Now that winter is has it's cold, heartless grip on a good amount of the country, it's time to get out there and take advantage of all it has to offer.  Maybe you'll head to the local sledding spot and tear down the hill on a saucer or inner tube.  Maybe you're feeling a bit more adventurous, though.

If you happen to be traveling to Modum, Norway in the coming days, take a swing by Vikersundbakken.  It's basically a mountain disguised as a ski flying hill.  Numerous world records have been set there and it's not surprising, based on the enormity of this thing.  Take a look at what it's like to jump this thing with the first-person video below.  You might want to mute your speakers.
