Think you need to get into better shape? Sure, all of us do. But now, you can evaluate your current fitness level quickly with a pretty basic test: the chair test!
All you need is a chair and a way of timing yourself. Then, you stand up and sit down with your arms crossed ten times. The faster, the better (obviously). Men under 35-years-old should be able to complete the test in ten seconds or less. Women under 35, 12 seconds or less. The older you get, the slower your time can be, but there are still benchmarks that you should try to hit.
