Apparently feeling a bit of heat, ESPN has issued an apology for Brent Musburger's comments about AJ McCarron's girlfriend Katherine Webb during the BCS championship game the other night.  They said in a statement:

"We always try to capture interesting storylines and the relationship between an Auburn grad who is Miss Alabama and the current Alabama quarterback certainly met that test. However, we apologize that the commentary in this instance went too far and Brent understands that."

That seemed a bit over the top to us because Musburger basically just said that she was attractive.
