An Indiana couple faces up to 60 days in jail and a $500 fine for helping an injured deer. Jeff Counceller, a police officer, was responding to a house call when he came across the injured deer. The poor thing could barely stand and had a wound covered in maggots. They contacted all sorts of government agencies for help, but were declined at every turn. They ended up just taking the deer home and nursing it back to health on their farm. They're not being charged with unlawfully possessing a deer. Watch the story below and then take the web poll to let us know if you think the charges should be dropped.
