THE FREE BEER & HOT WINGS SHOW HOLIDAY BREAK-IN

Each year it has become a show tradition to try and get away from making fun of others for at least one day, and do something good. To that end, we bring you the Free Beer & Hot Wings Show Holiday Break-in.

What is the Holiday Break-in? We’ll send out teams of “hoodlums” in order to “break-in” to a deserving family’s home and give them a Christmas they would not otherwise have had. We make it a point to look for families that might have fallen through the cracks of other charities such as churches, Toys For Tots, the Salvation Army, and so many other great charities this time of year. We try and find families that may have fallen on hard times recently, or simply wouldn’t think of themselves first.

How do we find the families? We find them with your help. Our families that we do a “break-in” to each year are found by YOU! We ask that you think about the people you know that fit the above description. And then, please tell us the story. We’ll then select families from each of the areas where our show is heard, and along with friends we’ll “break” into their homes live on the air and leave them Christmas where it otherwise might not have been. We’ll leave presents, decorations, lights, and everything else that goes with the holiday. The gifts will be both fun and necessity. We’ll also make sure each family has what they need to have a great Holiday meal this year.

So please, make that nomination. Bear in mind, we prefer that you do not nominate yourself (as it would be hard to break in if you know we are coming) and please do not nominate those you live with. With something like this no rules are hard and fast, but these are the guidelines that have worked in the past for us.
